About us
Since 1935 the name Wagner Magnete has been synonymous with competence, quality and innovation in magnetic technology.
The beginning...
When Georg Wagner founded the company of G. Wagner & Co. KG in Heimertingen in 1935 he set his company the aim of becoming
specialist in magnetic clamping.
Numerous patent rights in this field within only a short period of time proved his competence.
Innovative
Various slewing devices, combinations for clamping pole faces and capacitor-controlled demagnetising units revolutionized
the magnetic clamping technology.
We have thus been reliable pillars of the industry from the beginning.
Competent
New products in the field of iron separation from bulk goods followed. Wagner built rotating magnetic drums
and magnetic pulleys with automatic iron discharge and in 1953 the first magnetic belt separator which
were important components of today's recycling methods.
Courageous and flexible
n 1985, the company of Wagner KG took over and bought up the whole range of their hitherto competitor
Binder-Magnete.
The now, expanded market share required an extensive expansion of manufacturing
facilities and the creation of new jobs.
Always being state-of-the-art
Extensive developments with permanent magnets and their applications followed.
In 1985 Wagner introduced the first non-ferrous separator in a major trade fair.
Moreover, the electronics with continuously improved control possibilities for the clamping
and metal detection have become more and more significant. It marked the beginning
of a new generation of metal detectors that are now characterized with high sensitivity,
suppression of interferences and operating comfort.
The particular is our standard
In a continually changing market you cannot rest on your laurels of the past. In
the year 2005 we can proudly look back on 70 years of business history.
During this period of time the name Wagner Magnete became the epitome of quality, safety
and reliability. It is our obligation for the future to offer the best solution to
